GOOGLE: THE GROVE EXPERIENCE CENTER
ROLE: CONCEPT DESIGNER
COMPANY: Thinkwell Group
The Grove serves as a groundbreaking example of how technology can seamlessly elevate the visitor experience by blending architecture, storytelling, visitor-focused design, and cutting-edge innovation.
Inspired by the nearby redwood forests, the design of The Grove captures the emotional essence of nature, reflected throughout its architecture, technology, and hospitality features.
Thinkwell conceived and designed this innovative corporate briefing center to accommodate a diverse range of customer and partner-focused events. To cater to the unique interests and priorities of each visitor group, the space offers Google the flexibility to adapt to evolving demonstration needs.
To bring Thinkwell’s vision to life, Google required a technology partner capable of delivering facility integration, engineering, fabrication, installation, programming, and commissioning services. Collaborating closely with Google’s Experience Studio team and Thinkwell, Electrosonic integrated advanced technology into thirteen distinct spaces within The Grove, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for visitors.
The result is an exceptional location-based experience where visitors—whether attending meetings, workshops, or summits—can deepen their connection with Google and its groundbreaking technology.
For this experience, my role was the Concept Designer, developing the project. Working closely with the Art Directors, Interior Designers, and Show Set teams, I helped develop ideas and rendered visuals for what the numerous spaces could look like in their final state.
