CARVED - Halloween Spectacle at Descanso Gardens

As the Art Director for this project, my responsibilities were extensive. They included coordinating vendors, overseeing on-site installation, working on the development and fabrication of themed vignettes found throughout the experience, and collaborating with our lighting partners to ensure a fully immersive encounter. Throughout this process, I meticulously ensured that the fabricated elements aligned with our original concept drawings and seamlessly integrated with the lighting vendor’s creative vision. On-site, I collaborated with our team to precisely stage the vignettes in harmony with the theatrical lighting amidst the forest, all the while safeguarding the natural environment surrounding our scenes.
